Matthew's practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution. Prior to joining as an associate, Matthew was a law clerk for Patent Law Works.
During law school, Matthew served as a judicial intern for Chief Justice Christine Durham of the Utah State Supreme Court in addition to being a member of the Extra Muros International Law Journal and Global Justice Think Tank. While earning his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Matthew interned at Avborne, where he designed hydraulic and pneumatic test stands for aircraft thrust reversers. During this time, Matthew also researched assigned principles of nanotechnology and wrote proposals for a professor’s grant proposal and, as part of a team, designed a thermoelectric cooler for medical applications as a senior design project. Matthew is currently working towards a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, which includes a senior design project related to therapeutic ultrasound for cancer tumor treatment.
